Steps Without End

Steps Without End
Written and transcribed by Terry Grant

This is the conclusion of a message I have transcribed and edited from a talk Ishvara gave on March 19, 2006. - TG.

Ishvara:

In this awareness, you have an attitude, a consciousness about the connection, seeing the greater possibilities that unfold in each moment, understanding and respecting the flow of Life. This includes understanding that the course set by ignorance is not absolute; it is just apparent. There is that which is beyond ignorance, which is wisdom. When you have made the commitment to cooperate with Life, with existence itself, the higher teachings come into place, the greater flow of information comes into realization, and there is a knowing: "Do this. Take this step. Move in this direction."

Watch, observe, but do not become enslaved. Do not become fearful. Hold the place of balance within yourself, trying to see all the angles, trying to see greater possibilities. Everything that happens in the world can be interpreted in many ways. There are many ways of seeing what is happening. If you go to the lowest denominator of what is happening in the world, your energy will contribute to that. But if you go to the highest denominator, the highest imaginable thing that could be happening, your energy goes to that. So which do you want? Do you want to contribute to enslavement and ignorance, or do you want to contribute to wisdom, intelligence, and a greater body of information that is transcendent of what is stuck, what is limited?

This awareness is about embracing the fullness of Life, which involves getting over yourself, getting over others, getting over it, to become It, whatever "It" is. "It" is the current moment.

On the one hand, there is much to be afraid of as a consequence of ignorance. On the other, there is much to be hopeful for as a consequence of intelligence, of implementing wisdom that comes from information, which reveals that you can live and have your being in a Space of awareness and connection, developing appreciation, patience, cooperation and compassion for all of Life.

Each moment is an opportunity to hold a thought. In each moment, you can hold a lesser thought or a greater thought. Lesser thoughts bring less; greater thoughts bring more. That is not much of a decision is it?

I know it may be difficult to acknowledge that you are where you are because that is where you put yourself, but it is the truth. It is the truth that sets you free. You can make excuses, you can feel guilty, you can be ashamed, but that does nothing to facilitate your higher beingness and awareness. You best realize that you are what you are because that is what you have allowed yourself to be. No guilt, no fault. You are innocent. You didn't know that Life would take you seriously. You can get over it and go beyond it. That is a great source of power, indeed it is the greatest source of power.

You take the step. Each moment you take the step, whatever it might be, and at some point, at some time when you least expect it, you will find yourself at the top of the steps, and then you will see there is an entirely new stairway to ascend; you will never run out of steps. Think about it. Most people easily become bored, but you can't get bored because there are always more steps. Each step is something new, something vital, something energetic, something hopeful, and there is no end to the steps.

It is up to you. You create the life that you live, and you are empowered to create the life that you want to live. You are empowered to be more. That is the nature of Life. You see your past and realize, "I've been there, done that. Now what is next?" Living fully and completely as an ascended Self is the next step.

An "ascended Self" is not too complicated. It basically involves riding above the hubbub of the consensus, seeing, "Well, that's the way the world is going, that is what it believes it has to do; but there is more."

There is a realm of existence that is different, unique, and transcendent. You keep looking for that. You just keep looking for it. You don't look for something unless you expect something is there. So expect something is there, and look for it. Keep expecting, keep looking, and you see it. You see bits and pieces.

It is sometimes like a great jigsaw puzzle: you get a piece here, and a piece there. You just have to keep fitting the pieces together, and pretty soon you see an entirely new picture. Suddenly, you see a whole new way of being that has come into existence. How did that get there? Piece by piece. That is it.

You are designed to live. You are designed to experience. You are designed to know. And you are self-designed, so you cannot blame anyone else. Also, you don't want to place blame, because blame gives power to the outside. Instead, you become all you can be, moment by moment.

I appreciate you being here with me. I appreciate your support of this Space, your allowing of this awareness, this connection. I appreciate you for being you, and I will appreciate more of you as you become more of you. Thank you for your love and your support.
